This policy explains what Triplarks collects when you visit triplarks.com, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.
What we collect
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which guides are read. It records pages viewed, approximate location at city level, device type and referring site. We have not enabled Google Signals or advertising features.
- Server logs. Our web server records IP address, request time, page requested and user agent, as almost every web server does. Logs are kept for 30 days and used for security and diagnosing faults.
- Email. If you write to us, we keep your message and address so we can reply and, where relevant, correct a guide.
What we do not collect
We do not run advertising, we do not sell or share personal data, and we do not use cross-site tracking pixels. We do not ask you to create an account.
Cookies
Google Analytics sets cookies to distinguish one visit from another. WordPress may set a cookie if you leave a comment or log in as an editor. We set no advertising cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site works without them.
Legal basis and your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, our basis for analytics is legitimate interest in understanding which guides are useful. You may ask us to confirm what data relates to you, correct it, delete it, or object to processing. Write to hello@triplarks.com and we will respond within 30 days.
If you are in California, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA.
Third parties
Google Analytics processes data on our behalf under Google’s own terms. Our site is hosted on a virtual server we control. Embedded maps or videos, where used, are loaded from the provider and are subject to that provider’s policy; we will name any such provider on the page where it appears.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
